Jason Mock lives near the Space Needle and said he could hear the two-hour-long gathering from his apartment.

'I could hear just constant burnouts, people yelling and screaming,' Mock said. 'I couldn't believe there wasn't already a police presence there based on the noise that I could hear but this seems to be the common theme here - nobody gets in trouble for anything.'

'I didn't know if they had permission or not but I'm not going to lie, I was entertained by it and watch it for a little bit but then I started wondering if cops were gonna show up or not,' Steve Johnson said.

Planters and other barriers have now gone up by the stadium to keep drivers out and so far, it's worked.
